About Department

Electrical and Electronic Engineering, being an exciting and dynamic field, makes the engineers of the field core engineers and the most sought after ones globally. The Department, at BRCM , was established in the year 2004.The core strength of the Department includes Communication Technologies, Wireless Communication, Network Security, Sensor Networks, Optical Communication, Avionics, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and VLSI. The Department offers the following programme: -

  • 4-Year B.Tech. Degree Programme with an intake of 120 students. The students are admitted through JEE conducted by CBSE.
  • Diploma Holders are admitted through LEET an on-line test conducted by Haryana state counseling Society, Panchkula.
  • 2- Year M.Tech. Degree Programme in Instrumentation & Control Engineering with an intake of 18 students.

Admissions are decided on the basis of GATE Score/merit at qualifying exam.

To build a research identity around the intersections of circuits and devices, embedded systems, information sciences and computation, and data analytics and to build an educational identity through leading degree programs based on curricular innovation and research. Our educational approach emphasizes a solid technical base combined with critical thinking, emotional intelligence and experiential learning while encouraging entrepreneurship through open innovation with quality, high-impact service.

The Electrical & Electronics Engineering majors are committed to excellence in student learning. We want to produce graduates who are critical, original, and independent thinkers. Our goal is to produce young men and women who are technically proficient, articulate, reflective, and conversant with the fundamental questions faced by humankind. Each faculty member contributes to the department as a teacher, researcher, and colleague. As teachers, we are dedicated to providing a high-quality educational experience for our students which challenges them intellectually and inculcates in them the habits of lifetime learning.
