The BRCM College of Engineering & Technology is a Recognized Swachhta Action Plan Institution by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The Institution has successfully formed the Swachhta Action Plan Committee and consitituted the working groups post COVID-19 for Sanitation & Hygiene, Waste Management, Energy Management and Greenery along the Practices of Swachhta and Reduction, Reuse and Recycling of Resources.
The BRCMCET implements the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on four key areas: Teaching, Research, Operations, and Community Outreach. BRCMCET believes that nurturing nature is the best way to promote environmental sustainability through the adoption of eco-friendly methods.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) comprise 17 global goals aimed at achieving a better future by 2030. The core objectives for each goal and the contribution of BRCMCET towards them are summarized below.
